The iconic 'Cashmere De Luxe' is our wholly British-made cashmere blanket that will give you real warmth and the ultimate in softness and luxury.
The John Atkinson 'Cashmere De Luxe' blanket adorns the beds of Royalty across the world and is an ideal bedding choice on super-yachts and in luxury hotels. The superfine, light, and soft cashmere fibres are brushed from the underbelly of the cashmere goat in tiny amounts. The goats live at very high altitude in the Himalayan mountains. The higher the altitude, the finer the fibre and this is what makes cashmere one of the most luxurious and sought-after natural fibres available.
A beautiful blanket woven from this exquisite fibre, it is finished with a classic style binding in real silk. Offered in all British standard sizes, including super-king.
All-season weight: 390 gsm, it is not heavy but is surprisingly warm.
Made in England.
Composition: 100% Cashmere with 100% Silk ribbon binding.
Available in two colours: Winter white and champagne. The 'winter white' blanket is woven using natural unbleached white wool, so is a light cream colour, rather than bright brilliant white.

As well as a beautifully soft and silky feel, cashmere has superior insulating properties. It is said to be up to 8 times more insulating than sheep’s wool, keeping you cosy and warm but at a much lighter weight. Cashmere is moisture-wicking and breathable, with astonishing built-in temperature regulating properties, meaning that your Cashmere De Luxe blanket can be enjoyed all year round, even in warmer weather.
