Bradford, Yorkshire, is the traditional wool capital of England, and John Atkinson blankets are woven in one of the last remaining traditional wool mills in the county.
As well as a beautifully soft and silky feel, cashmere has superior insulating properties. It is said to be up to 8 times more insulating than sheep’s wool, keeping you cosy and warm but at a much lighter weight. Cashmere is moisture-wicking and breathable, with astonishing built-in temperature-regulating properties, meaning that your Cashmere De Luxe blanket can be enjoyed all year round, even in warmer weather.
